PARENT CONSULTATION

Raising a child can be one of the most rewarding — and most challenging — things a person can do. Children don’t come with an instruction manual and you may have no idea how to support your child through challenging times. Parent consultation sessions offer a dedicated space for you, without your child present, to collaborate and reflect on what's coming up at home, discuss your child's progress, and explore strategies to better support them in their day to day life. The goal is to deepen your understanding of your child and feel more confident supporting them beyond the therapy room.

These sessions can also be a space to process, reflect, and explore your own experience of being a parent and how your experiences of being parented show up in interactions with your child.

Consultations are offered virtually and in-person. They are not required even if a child is currently engaged in therapeutic treatment but are strongly recommended as the primary way to maintain involvement in your child’s care.
